Amending some provisions of Law No. 120 of 1982Issuing a law regulating commercial agency business and some commercial mediation activities and the accompanying

Article (2):

It is prohibited to engage in any commercial agency, commercial brokers or real estate brokers, according to the cases prepared for this purpose in the competent ministry.

Article (16):

Severe penalty of jail for a period do not exceed 2 years and a penalty between 50,000 up to 1,000,000 EGP who ever practices the profession of commercial agency or performs a business of commercial mediation or real estate brokerage without being registered in addition to depriving the establishment from practicing the activity for a period not exceeding two years and closing the establishment for the same period.
